English Service Weekly Bulletin 28th Dec 2025
Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church! As 2025 draws to a close, we pause to reflect on God’s grace and faithfulness throughout the year. God has come near, breaking down the barriers between Himself and humanity, and between one another, bringing restoration and renewal to broken relationships. Our theme this next year will still be “Break Walls, Build Bridges,” as we celebrate Christ’s love that reconnects hearts and builds unity. Whether you are visiting for the first time or have been part of our church family for many years, we warmly welcome you to gather with us as the year ends and to receive the joy and hope found in Him.

With great joy, we welcome six brothers and sisters who were baptised at last Sunday’s Christmas Service into the ECF Holy Word Church family. They are Brother Lu Yong Quan, Sister Jessy Gu, Brother Thomas Fu, Sister Ng Jing Ying, Brother Brendan Chan, and Brother Gareth Ho. Let us walk alongside them in Christ and continue to uphold them in prayer.
Coming Sunday, we will be holding a combined New Year Consecration Service as we dedicate ourselves afresh to the Lord for the year ahead. During the service, we will also be installing our new term of deacons and general council leaders. As the service will be slightly longer, it will conclude at 11.30am. A simple lunch fellowship will follow after the service, and we warmly encourage everyone to stay and begin the new year together as a church family.
Let us begin 2026 together in prayer at the Combined Prayer Meeting on 1st January. We will bring before the Lord our church, families, nation, and missionaries, seeking His guidance and blessing for the year ahead. Come with open hearts, and let us start the year united in faith and prayer.
The elderly Bible study will continue to pause for the coming session (31 Dec) this Wednesday. Regular lessons will resume on 7 Jan 2026. Please take note!

Let us give thanks to God for the good progress with LTA regarding the rezoning of #70 with URA. We thank the Lord for His favour, guidance, and provision in this process, and we continue to trust Him for wisdom and smooth coordination in the next steps ahead.
Congregation prayer concerns:
Let us continue to keep Brother Steven Lim, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Chen Yik Ying, Sister Ng Moh Tuck and Sister Chiu Fong Har in prayer.
