Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church! On this first Sunday of 2026, we step into a new year with gratitude and hope, trusting in God’s unchanging faithfulness. As we begin this year together, may we be renewed in Christ, strengthened in our relationships, and encouraged to break walls and build bridges in love. Whether you are visiting for the first time or part of our church family, we are glad you are here as we start this new year worshipping God together.

今天我们要以感恩的心为2026–2027年度的新一届总理事与执事理事举行就职礼。在11月9日的特别会友大会中，教会同心确认他们的呼召与托付。愿我们用祷告托住他们，以爱与支持与他们同行，同心建造主的教会。崇拜后，教会已预备简单的午餐，邀请大家留下来一同用餐、彼此交流！
Today, we gratefully welcome and install the new General Council and Deacon Council for the 2026–2027 term. Through the Extraordinary General Meeting on 9 Nov, the church affirmed God’s calling upon these leaders. We invite the church to support them through prayer, encouragement, and partnership as we build Christ’s church together. After the service, a simple lunch has been prepared. We warmly invite everyone to stay back for fellowship!教会已在本周的周刊中附上十一奉献认献表。我们鼓励大家在接下来的三周内，为自己的奉献向主祷告，并在预备好后，将填写好的认献表投入礼堂外的认献箱中。愿我们以感恩与信靠，同心参与。
A tithe pledge form has been included in today’s bulletin. We encourage everyone to prayerfully consider their giving and to submit the completed pledge form within the next three weeks by placing it in the pledge box outside the service hall. Registration for ECF’s 70th anniversary dinner celebration is now open! Our church will be organizing a short-term missions trip to Chiang Rai, Thailand, from 11 to 16 Jun 2026. Registration is now open. All participants are required to attend the compulsory KAIROS pre-mission course as part of the preparation for the trip. The KAIROS course will be conducted on 9 Saturdays (21 & 28 Mar, 11, 18, 25 Apr, and 2, 9, 16, 23 May, from 9am to 12noon. Please ensure you are able to commit to all sessions before registering. For any queries, please approach Ps Xing Rong. Further details will be shared in the next few weeks. To sign up, please approach any pastors.

The Elderly Bible Study will resume on Wednesday, 7 Jan 2026 at 10am. Rev. Ng will continue sharing on the theme “Fruit of the Spirit.” All are welcome!
