English Service Weekly Bulletin 18th Oct 2026
Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church! Today is Sunday, and let us worship God with joyful, thankful hearts. Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbour as ourselves; this is God's mandate for us. May we grow deeper in our love for God and share His love with those around us. Whether you're visiting for the first time or are part of our church family, may you experience God's presence, grace and peace today.

Our beloved brother Goh Hun Sheng was called home to be with the Lord on 11 October. The church held his memorial service this past Tuesday, followed by his funeral and cremation on Wednesday. May the Lord Himself comfort Brother Han Seng’s family during this time of grief. May He grant them His peace and strength, and sustain them as they journey through the pain of losing a loved one.
ECF Holy Word Missions Conference 2026 is happening this coming Saturday and Sunday, 24 and 25 October! Join us as a church family to hear missions stories, celebrate God’s work, and renew our commitment to His mission.
On Saturday, 21 November, we will be walking together at the National Stadium in support of Hope@NRCS, our community mental health and counselling work. Walk with your pastoral zone or cell group, at your own pace, any time between 8am and 1pm. Bring your friends and family along too. This is an easy and natural way to invite them into something we care about. Every step counts towards the last lap of our 70 million steps challenge, and along the way there will be a few simple questions to reflect on, because every step is a step taken with someone. Please save the date.
All zone and cell leaders, please stay back for a short briefing after service today. It will take about 10 minutes.

Children aged 6 to 12 are welcome, and there will be songs and stories, games, crafts, and a DIY sushi lunch. Do invite your friends’ and family’s children to join us too!Our Seniors’ Bible Study will begin promptly at 10am this coming Wednesday. This season, Rev Ng will be sharing on “Relationships in the Bible.” All are warmly welcome!

Give thanks that our submission to LTA has been approved! LTA is one of the more difficult approvals to obtain, and we give God the glory. Please continue praying for the other submissions in progress, including NParks, whose requirements are also not easy to meet. Pray for continued wisdom and favour as the remaining approvals move forward.
Congregation Prayer Concerns
Let us continue to keep Brother Philip Chua, Sister Lai Swee Fong, Sister Chiu Fong Har, Sister Ng Moh Tuck, Sister Foo Kheng Jee, Sister Lim Lau Mun, Sister Lim Yuet Meng, Brother Ho Kum Seong and Mr Li Jing Lun (Sister Lee Choy Foong’s Father) in prayer.
