Jesus calls us to love God with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbour as ourselves; this is God's mandate for us. Its Childrens Day at Sunday School! Bring a friend and join us on 4 October, 9.25am
to 12pm, for games, prizes, and treats as we learn just how much Jesus loves us.
Open to all kids aged 3 to 12. Invite your family and friends, and register today with
Teacher Estee.
Reminder: ECF and NRCS Combined Board Meeting on 30 September, 7.30pm at
Church. We ask the congregation to hold this meeting in prayer, as our board
members seek God’s wisdom together on how we, ECF and NRCS, can serve the
wider community beyond our church walls in unity.
Starting this October, we hold a Church-Wide Prayer Meeting on the first Sunday of
every month, 9am to 9.25am, alongside our existing first-Thursday prayer meeting. If
the church is to move forward, we must first pray: not just bringing our needs to God,
but aligning our hearts with His and seeking His direction. Come early and join us in
prayer as we prepare our hearts for worship together.
Our Seniors’ Bible Study will begin promptly at 10am this coming Wednesday. This
season, Rev Ng will be sharing on “Relationships in the Bible.” All are warmly welcome!

Give thanks that our submission to LTA has been approved! LTA is one of the more difficult approvals to obtain, and we give God the glory. Please continue praying for the other submissions in progress, including NParks, whose requirements are also not easy to meet. Pray for continued wisdom and favour as the remaining approvals move forward.
Please pray for the humanitarian efforts in Nepal: the floods have severely damaged roads, making it difficult for relief workers to reach the harder-hit, more remote areas, where many are still awaiting aid. Please also remember the recent volcanic eruptions in Indonesia. May the Lord have mercy on those affected, open the way for relief teams, and grant strength and wisdom so that aid can reach those who need it most as quickly as possible.
