English Service Weekly Bulletin 19th July 2026
Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church! As we gather this Sunday, we come before God with thankful and joyful hearts to worship Him. May the Lord renew our lives through today's worship, prayers, Scripture, and message, drawing us closer to Christ and to one another in love. Whether you are visiting for the first time or are part of our church family, we warmly welcome you and pray that you will experience God's presence, grace, and peace as we worship Him together.

This is a moment for the Church in Singapore to pray in repentance. We encourage all members to join LoveSingapore’s 40 Days of Prayer through the daily Cell Group messages, asking God for humble hearts to recognise our inadequacies and sins, and to turn afresh to Him. Please also join Day of His Power: English gathering on 7 August 2026, Friday, 8pm at Lighthouse Tampines; Chinese gathering on 8 August 2026, Saturday, 10am at St Andrew’s Cathedral.
The ordination of Ps Mao Yi Lin is being conducted by ECF, her home church, in response to the invitation and recommendation of CCM, and following the affirmation of the church and the ordination council. As a mission organisation, CCM does not ordain pastors; therefore, ordination is carried out by the missionary’s home church after careful assessment and discernment. As Ps Mao’s ministry includes teaching and training experienced pastors in East Asia, ordination will provide appropriate recognition and help her fulfil God’s calling more effectively. As a member pastor of ECF, she will be entrusted with the authority to administer the sacraments and officiate church rites within ECF, while having a more limited role in decisions concerning the church’s leadership and direction. Let us give thanks for God’s call upon her life and continue to pray for her ministry.
Ps Mao’s Ordination Service will be held on Sunday, 16 August 2026, 2pm, at #74, followed by a tea reception. Please RSVP through your Cell Groups by 26 July.
All Cell Group leaders are encouraged to attend the Acts Pre-study. The English Pre-study has been postponed to 29 July (Wednesday), 8pm via Zoom. Chinese: 2 Aug (Sunday), 11.30am in #70 MPH.
There is Elderly Bible Study this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev. Ng will share the theme “Sermon On the Mount”. All are welcome!

Let us pray with humility and repentance as we seek God's renewal for our lives and His Church. Ask the Lord to raise up faithful disciples, strengthen His Church to meet the challenges of our time, and pour out His Spirit in revival upon Singapore, that many may turn to Christ and His name be glorified.
Congregation prayer concerns:
Let us continue to keep Sister Chiu Fong Har, Brother Lu Yong Quan, Sister Ng Moh Tuck, Sister Lai Swee Fong, Mr Li Jing Lun (Sister Lee Choy Foong’s Father), and Brother Loh Kin Ngon in prayer.
