Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church. As we gather this Sunday, we come before God with grateful and joyful hearts to worship Him. May we be renewed in Christ, grow deeper in our relationships, and learn to break walls and build bridges in love.     Bible Verses : John 21:15–22

    1. NRCS is organising a Befriender Training conducted by Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) on 20 June 2026 (9am–6pm). This training will equip participants with practical skills to better engage, care for, and journey with the elderly in our community. If you would like to be equipped for this meaningful ministry, please indicate your interest to any of our pastors by today.

    2. There will be a pre-study session for the Acts Bible Study specifically for cell leaders. This pre-study will cover Acts season 2 (sessions 7–9) of the upcoming Bible study. The pre-study for Chinese language cells will be held after service at 11.30am on 31 May, and the pre-study for English language cells will take place on 20 May (Wednesday) at 8pm via Zoom.

    3. Isaac, Noah, and Abraham Pastoral Zones will be jointly organising a Parents' Day fellowship after the Chinese Service today. Brothers and sisters who have registered are kindly requested to attend punctually. As the number of participants has exceeded the venue capacity, we are unable to accommodate those who did not register in advance. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to a joyful time of fellowship with everyone!

    4. ECF is co-organising a parenting talk with NRCS on Raising Resilient Kids, to equip parents in raising confident and resilient children. Register before the end of May for free admission. A fee of $3 per person applies thereafter. All parents are welcome to attend! Date: Saturday, 27 June 2026, Time: 3pm to 4pm, Venue: Neighbour Ring Community Services, Blk 8 Joo Seng Road #01-08 Singapore 360008.

    5. There is Elderly Bible Study this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev. Ng will share the theme "Sermon On the Mount". All are welcome!

    1. Pray for the rezoning of #70: the application is in its final phase and under review by URA and other authorities. Pray for God's favour in the process, especially for approval of the NParks waiver application, that the necessary clearance will be granted smoothly.

    2. Our Missions Ministry leaders will be travelling to Chiang Rai in June and are currently in the midst of intensive preparations. Please keep them in prayer as there is much to be done. Pray especially for discernment and wisdom as we seek God's heart for ECF's missions involvement in Chiang Rai, and how we may faithfully partner the work there for the long term.
