Welcome to ECF Holy Word Church. As we gather this Sunday, we come before God with grateful and joyful hearts to worship Him. May we be renewed in Christ, grow deeper in our relationships, and learn to break walls and build bridges in love. Whether you are visiting for the first time or are part of our church family, we are glad you are worshipping with us today, and we pray that this service will be a time of drawing near to God and being strengthened by His grace.

    Sermon Title : “Children and Parents Under the Lordship of Christ”

    Bible Verses : Ephesians 6:1–4

    1. General Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday, 12 May. All Council Members are reminded to attend.

    2. The NRCS Management Meeting will be held on Monday, 11 May, at 8pm via Zoom. All NRCS management members are reminded to attend punctually.

    3. There will be a pre-study session for the Acts Bible Study specifically for cell leaders. This pre-study will cover Acts season 2 (sessions 7-9) of the upcoming Bible study. The pre-study for Chinese language cells will be held after service at 11.30am on 31 May, and the pre-study for English language cells will take place on 20 May(Wednesday) at 8pm via Zoom.

    4. Isaac, Noah, and Abraham Pastoral Zones will be holding a combined Parents’ Day fellowship on 17 May (coming Sunday) at 11.30am. Brothers and sisters are warmly encouraged to invite their parents to attend. As a simple lunch will be provided after the gathering, all attendees are required to register in advance. Please sign up with your pastoral zone leader or with Rev Ng starting from today.

    5. ECF is co-organising a parenting talk with NRCS on Raising Resilient Kids, to equip parents in raising confident and resilient children. Register before the end of May for free admission. A fee of $3 per person applies thereafter. All parents are welcome to attend!

    6. There is Elderly Bible Study this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev. Ng will share the theme “Sermon On the Mount”. All are welcome!

    1. Pray for the rezoning of #70: the application is in its final phase and under review by URA and other authorities. Pray for God’s favour in the process, especially for approval of the NParks waiver application, that the necessary clearance will be granted smoothly. 

    2. Congregation prayer concerns：

      1)Let us continue to keep Sister Lai Swee Fong, Brother Loh Kin Ngon, Sister Toh Ah Eng and Sister Tiong Hong Kiaw in prayer.
