  1. We are glad to share that our Annual Missions Sunday will be on Sunday, 26 Oct. This is a special time for us to hear God’s Word, celebrate His work through missions, and renew our commitment to His missions and call for all of us to pray, give and Go. As we prepare, we would also like to encourage everyone to fulfill the missions pledges made last year. Your faithful giving has a direct impact on supporting our missionaries and mission works. Please keep the Missions Conference in prayer and join us as we seek God’s heart for the nations.

  2. There is a Deacons Council meeting on Tuesday (7 Oct) 8pm. Deacons and pastors please take note.

  3. Please take note that the Silent Retreat originally scheduled for Sunday, 19 Oct will be postponed to Sunday, 30 November. This new date coincides with the beginning of Advent, giving us a timely opportunity to prepare our hearts in stillness before the Lord. We warmly encourage everyone to set aside this day to draw near to God in prayer and reflection.

  4. In conjunction with the celebration of our church’s 70th anniversary, the Church has set up a Memory Wall with “Footprints of Grace” as the theme. You are warmly invited to participate through a photo or a note of thanksgiving to God or a person who has poured into your life. For enquiries, please contact Sister Jessie Ling.

  5. This coming Sunday, 12 Oct (11.30am), there will be a Chinese Alpha class at Pastor’s Office, with the theme “Who is Jesus?”. Feel free to invite your friends to attend. Please register with Brother Jit Leong or Rev Ng.

  6. The Seniors Bible study will be held this Wednesday at 10am. This season, Rev. Ng will share the theme “Foundations of Christian Faith.” Join us!

• Prayer Pointers

  1. Please remember the Philippines in prayer following the recent earthquake that has brought loss and destruction to many communities. Several churches that Rev Andrew is personally connected with have been badly affected. Pray for God’s comfort and protection over those who are suffering, for relief efforts to reach swiftly, and for the pastors and believers to be strengthened to stand firm and share Christ’s love in the midst of this crisis.

  2. Please pray for the rezoning matter of #70. We are still waiting for the Land Transport Authority (LTA) to respond to our submission regarding the car parking issue. Pray that they will come back to us soon, and be open for discussion with us, so that together we can find a good resolution.

  3. Congregation prayer concerns：

     Let us continue to keep Brother Steven Lim, Brother Tan Keng Khim, Sister Chen Yik Ying, and Sister Ng Moh Tuck in prayer.
